Young Mie Kim’s Research Featured in New York Times

A report from Young Mie Kim and her research group Project Data was featured in a New York Times articles about how digital groups take advantage of microtargeted advertising on social media. The research shows that Russian groups identified and targeted nonwhite voters with messages promoting racial identity. These same groups then later switched to demobilization and suppression messaging. Young Mie Kim is an expert in digital media and misinformation. She is available for interview.
