In August 2019, the Elections Research Center hosted the Wisconsin Election Landscape conference as part of the broader State Election Landscapes project.
The conference brought together political scientists and election administration officials in the state to discuss data and descriptive materials about the administration of elections in Wisconsin. Our discussions concentrated on voter participation, absentee ballots, and voter registration.

The project was funded by the Joyce Foundation and supported by the UW-Madison Elections Research Center, the MIT Election Data and Science Lab, and Election Law @ Moritz. The convening professors were Barry Burden (University of Wisconsin-Madison), Steven Heufner (The Ohio State University), and Charles Stewart (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
